Brief History and Genesis of the
Oneness Movement

The descent of the ‘Golden Ball’
marked the birth of the phenomenon;
the phenomenon of ‘Oneness’. The
year was 1989 and the day, July 19th.
We called it ‘The Golden Ball of Divine
Grace.’ Amma and Bhagavan’s vision
of a world filled with the divine devoid
of boundaries of any kind - national,
religious, class-based or racial, had
begun to manifest. Jeevashram, a
school founded by Amma and
Bhagavan provided the ideal setting
for the divine miracle. Soon to follow
was the phenomenon of the in-dweller,
the Antaryamin. In the heart of a young
boy, Sri Krishnaji, the indweller would
appear and talk to him. This young boy
would then lay his hands on his friends
and fellow students and a similar thing
would happen to them.....

- Samadarshini, "What is special with Shristi/
the Parenting Program?"

-Sri Kalki often says that to be a parent is a sacred
responsibility. You cannot just say that you want to
have a child because you're fascinated of
children. It is a responsibility; you bring down a
soul to this planet. Parenting is a sacred art which
has to be learned. It is such an important
experience to be a parent. You are dedicating 21
years of your life to your child. In fact Sri Kalki
wants the whole world to receive this learning first,
before they get pregnant. It will be a grand
experience towards the child

Enlightenment: Interview with Sri
Ananda Giri

What is the message and main teachings
that you are bringing today to the spiritual
seekers of America?

I have come to bring neither a new teaching nor
a new philosophy of life; we already have
received a huge number of teachings from
different Saints, Sages, Mystics, Philosophers
and great thinkers from different schools of
thought. The world is full of philosophies,
religions, esoteric teachings (revealed to the
world), spiritual practices, techniques of self
development, etc., that set forth beautiful
theories and ideas of how we should live or
what do we have to do, to find true "Happiness"
in our lives.

Interviews with Sri Ananda Giri
In the courses offered at Kalki 's ashram, the
first few days are about becoming aware of the
prison of our mind.  It isn't about trying to
change any of it, because you cannot.  You
are simply witnessing the reality of your mind
as it is, the emotional charge, the habit
patterns, the assumptions, the traumas, the
conditioning, and the masks that we build up in
order to survive.  You begin to strip down the
social and spiritual personas, and you begin to
understand the nature of mind.  You become
aware that enlightenment is simply about ‘de-
clutching' from the mind.

We need to be clear that enlightenment does
not mean getting rid of the mind.  Rather, it is
about dissolving the sense of ‘self' as a
separate, continuous entity which we refer to
as ‘I'.  It is not about becoming mindless, but
rather about becoming what the Buddhists call
‘mindful', being present with reality as it is!

The Story of The Buddha and
Bodhgaya

Bodhisattva, having renounced the luxurious
life of Prince Siddhartha, became Gautama,
the ascetic. After leaving his home, he started
walking in the southeastern direction from
Kapilavastu and came to Vaishali.

There, he listened briefly to the teaching of
Arada Kalapa, an aberrant samkhya, but left
dissatisfied. Crossing the river Ganges, he
once again entered the kingdom of Magadha
and came to Rajgir, its capital, where he
listened to the yogic teachings of Rudraka.
Again dissatisfied, he left the place, followed
by five ascetics. Along with them, he came to
the village of Uravilva, situated on the banks of
the Nairanjana River, close to the place now
known as Bodhgaya.

.......It is also one of the methods to enable one to
reach Buddha Amitabha’s pure land. Through a
combination of breath, mantra and visualization
techniques applied at the time of death, the
consciousness is ejected from the crest aperture,
circumventing the Bardos and avoiding rebirth in
the six realms of cyclic existence. From this gate
one’s consciousness can be transferred directly to
the domain of Amitabha Buddha (Dewachen, the
western Buddha field). Naropa said, “There are
nine gates (ordinary aperture called buga) which
are of the world, but there is only one which is the
gate of Mahamudra (nirvana). If you shut the nine
gates then you will get the path of liberation without
any doubt.”
